Our process for making disciples

At River of Life, our process for making disciples is seen in our mission statement, "Reaching the Lost, Equipping the saints, and Praising the Lord." It is through our mission statement that we have a clear process for vision and ministry. Our process is seen in the following outline:

Praising the Lord (Worship) - Our process begins with praising the Lord. Our worship is focused on the Triune God and His work of creation, salvation and sanctification (making us holy) in our lives.  Worship opportunities are every Sunday in addition to special services throughout the year.

Equipping the Saints (Small Groups) - Once a person is participating in worship, the next step in the process is continued spiritual growth.  It is important for a person to be active spiritually and to sustain relationships.  Being active in a small group can provide continual relationships and spiritual growth.  At River of Life, we are a church that practices "Worship + One."  We encourage everyone who is active in worship to be a part of a small group.  Small groups a River of Life are divided into two categories:  Service/Leadership focuses on being active within the ministries of our congregation.  Building Friendships focuses more on developing and strengthening relationships with others.

Reaching the Lost (Missions) - Once a person is participating in worship and in a small group, the final step is using his or her talents and gifts to serve those in the community.  We desire to be a church that is missional, not only catering to the needs and members of this church but to reach the lost for Christ.

Youth - Students from grades 6-12 are welcome to join in fellowship with their peers every Sunday morning at 9:30 am for Sunday School, plus special events every month.

Music at River of Life - How to get involved with Music Ministry in a variety of music ensembles for all ages.

We have three values which guide our ministry: Reaching the Lost, Equipping the Saints and Praising the Lord.
