We have three values which guide our ministry:
Reaching the Lost: Our #1 value because it is not only the reason Jesus was sent to earth (John 3:16); it is also the reason Jesus gave for His being here ("I have come to seek and to save that which was lost"). Evangelism is not a "personality trait;" it is something that Jesus works in all of His disciples ("I will make you fishers of men").
Equipping the Saints: Jesus said, "This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, proving yourselves to be My disciples." We seek by the power of the Holy Spirit to help you fulfill your God given purpose, not just fill a pew.
Praising the Lord: Psalm 150 says, "Let everything that has breath, praise the Lord." Our understanding of Scripture has been set in the Book of Concord and it clearly states, "the community of God in every locality and every age has the authority to change such ceremonies according to circumstances as it may be most profitable and edifying…" We choose to exercise this freedom in worship we have (Hebrews 9:1 vs. 9:15); and intentionally seek to have worship that is both culturally relevant and Christ centered.
