Our Beliefs

A Look at what we believe

River of Life is a congregation of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. Our church and church body is blessed with many things:

Knowing that we are saved by grace, through faith, not by works.
Accepting the Bible as the inspired, inerrant Word of God.
Trusting in Jesus as the only means for salvation.
Receiving the gifts & works of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
Confirming Jesus' words regarding the power of Communion for the forgiveness of our sins.
Rejoicing that the promise of Baptism is "for us and our children".
Responding to the fact that Jesus has "made us fishers of men" through sharing our faith.
Enjoying the freedom to worship in Spirit and in truth.
Serving with and to those who follow and serve Jesus in other orthodox Christian denominations.
Working to see Jesus return as the Lion of Judah, in our lifetimes.
