The History of the River - Our Statement of Beliefs - Our vision for ministry
River of Life is a community of believers who are focused on Jesus and what He has done—and is doing—for us. We're hoping that you would stop by and visit us!
River of Life chartered in June, 2002. Since that time, the congregation has grown and planted on the 13 acre campus on Highway 60 across from Highland Springs Country Club and the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame.
Our focus as a congregation is upon Jesus of Nazareth, who is called The Christ. After having been born of a virgin, suffering under Pontius Pilate, He was crucified and buried. On the third day He was resurrected bodily. He promises new life through His grace.
We invite you to join us in Christian fellowship to worship and praise our Risen Lord!
We have three values which guide our ministry: Reaching the Lost, Equipping the Saints and Praising the Lord
For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles, and last of all he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born. - 1 Corinthians 15:3-11
